Casa de Laila House Rules

We hope you enjoy a great holiday at Casa de Laila. We don't like rules and try to keep them to a minimum! But the house rules do form part of the holiday rental terms and conditions and are there to help ensure everyone has a safe, secure and enjoyable holiday, please read them carefully. Enjoy and use common sense!

Whilst we would never wish to, for the benefit of all guests, we do reserve the right to terminate your rental and evict any guest or visitor who refuses to follow the house rules, especially if causing a nuisance to any other guests or neighbours. Payment for any damages for breach of the rules may also be required.

1. Maximum occupancy. As per the number of guests on the reservation, but if you need more, please talk to us.

2. Visitors. A maximum of 2 visitors occasionally is ok but none to stay overnight without asking first. You are responsible for ensuring any visitors comply with the house rules.

3. Smoking. All internal spaces in properties and communal areas are non-smoking. Please smoke outside and discard cigarette butts safely in ashtrays, never on the floor.

4. Cleaning. A final cleaning (laundry, dust, vacuum, mop etc) is included but the accommodation should not be returned with excessive cleaning or any washing up. If you require extra cleaning our cleaner will be happy to arrange a paid service with you.

5. Rubbish: Should be deposited in the many containers in the town on the side of the road. Please take all your rubbish there before you leave. You should have been provided with a supply of bin liners.

6. Parties: Parties and large gatherings strictly not allowed.

7. Noise & the Neighbours: Enjoy your holiday but please respect the logical rules of good neighbourliness and not carry out any activities or noise that could annoy any other guests or neighbours, especially from 23.00 to 8.00, we’d really appreciate it.

8. Electricity and Water Consumption: are included but please do not use excessively when not needed. Importantly, please don’t leave air cons on when not in the property.

9. Valuables: Is your sole responsibility to look after cash or any valuable items you bring with you. There is a safe for your use in your property.

10. Security. Please make sure all windows and doors are closed/locked when not in the property to help maintain security.

11. Inventory. Please return any kitchen items to where you originally found them and keep furniture where it is.

12. Any Problems or Complaints. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to resolve for you.

13. Damages & Breakages. Accidents happen! Please let us know as soon as reasonably practical so we can replace for the next guests.

14. Minors. Whilst a primarily adult only venue, you are fully responsible for the safety, supervision and security of any minors in your party at all times. If you find anything unsafe or requiring revision at our property, please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can address the issue.

15. Swimming Pool & Hot Tub. For safety reasons please don’t use any glassware in the hot tub or close to the pool. It is especially important to supervise any children at all times when around the pool area.

Please avoid taking any cutlery, crockery or glasses to the pool area to avoid misplacing or losing them.

Please replace the pool/hot tub cover after use to retain heat.

16. Barbecue. Please clean as soon as possible after use.

17. Parking. Please follow the instructions provided in your welcome email regarding parking and a maximum of 2 vehicles per booking. Please do not block the driveway or park on the roundabout by the fish pond.

18. Property Maintenance.
Hot cups & plates on wooden surfaces: avoid putting hot cups/plates etc on any real wood surface without using a mat as can make a burn mark in the wood.

Toilet flush: we are on a septic tank system so please only flush toilet paper, DO NOT dispose of feminine sanitary products, condoms, wipes, floss, napkins, pads, etc in the toilets as they block the drainage system. A bin for these are in each bathroom.

Kitchen waste: please DO NOT put any food or grease/oil down the sink as it causes blockages.

Kitchen worktops: Please NEVER sit on the kitchen worktops. They are made from a stone that could break with too much weight.

Feeding the fish: please avoid feeding the fish or they will get very fat!

19. Example Charges. Lost gate fob €40, lost key €5, excessive cleaning €20/hour, rubbish disposal €20.
