Directions

If coming from Malaga Airport, when coming into Alhaurin el Grande on the A-404, just before you enter the town and 50 metres before the BP garage, take the left up Canada de las Palomas. Go to the top of the road and turn left. Casa de Laila is approx 100 metres on the left hand side.

Check-in Time

From 4pm. If the accommodation is cleaned and available earlier we are happy to let you in but please check beforehand.

Collect Your Keys

Outside of the main entrance gate, to the left above the black post box you will see some key safes. Find the one with the name of your accommodation on it, pull down the cover and enter the code provided in your welcome email. Once entered, pull down on the little black lever and the safe will open. Inside is a mando for the main big gates, a key for the little pedestrian gate and a key for the front door to your accommodation.

Come in

To open the main gates, point the mando at the gates and hold down the top left button for a couple of seconds. They will open automatically (they will also close automatically after about a minute).

Parking Location

Olive Tree - there is a space for one small car directly outside your apartment

Washington Palms - there is space for 2 cars to the left of the apartment.

All other suites and cars - the parking area is  immediately to your right after you enter Laila. In the event of heavy rain it can get a little muddy there, so in that event there is space for a couple of cars on the concrete at the entrance to the parking area or the grass to the left of the driveway, or further up the drive directly in front of the fish pond, please just avoid blocking anyone in.

Olive Tree - the first apartment on your right as you go down the driveway. The key to the back door is in the apartment.

Washington Palms - the second apartment on your right as you go down the driveway. The key to the back door is in the apartment.

Sunrise - walk up the driveway, go to the right of the fishpond, continue walking to the right side of the main house. Sunrise is the first Suite on the left up the little tiled steps. Your terrace is up the black metal steps.

Serenity - walk up the driveway, go to the right of the fishpond, continue walking to the right side of the main house. Continue walking to the area behind the house, in the far-left corner are the steps down to Serenity. The key also opens the doors to your terrace.

Panoramic - walk up the driveway, go to the right of the fishpond, continue walking to the right side of the main house. Continue walking to the area behind the house. Take the wooden steps up, go left at the top of the steps and through the gate to your terrace and go through your terrace to the entrance door.

Providing ID

Under Spanish law, all guests (now including minors) have to be registered with the Spanish authorities. You should be able to do this in the 24 hours before arrival & you have a maximum of 24 hours after arrival to submit it.

For reference you can put your surname, the contract or reservation date is when you booked (approx. will do if you don’t know!) and relationship is the relationship to the first guest (the first guest can just choose “other”). If it is for a minor without any ID then when it asks to scan the ID, choose to enter the details manually instead. The app will scan your passport (or ID card if you are Spanish).
